M. KirchnerMichael J. Kirchner
Chief Executive Officer


Michael J. Kirchner, the founder of AGIS, has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. Under his direction, AGIS has grown from a one-man, one-office operation in 1978 to a growing enterprise with more than 75 employees with five locations in Michigan, Florida and Indiana.

Mike holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from John Carroll University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Detroit.



A HerrAndria Herr
National President


As National President, Andria is responsible for directing the overall operations of the company, leading AGIS’s future growth, and for developing and managing AGIS’s sales initiatives for the company’s five offices.

Joining AGIS in 2002 as President of the Central Florida operations, Andria has been in the insurance industry since 1987. From 1987 to 1995, she served as Senior Account Executive with CIGNA. In 1995, Andria joined UnitedHealthcare in a Senior Management capacity, serving as Vice President of Sales when UnitedHealthcare launched its first commercial products in central and north Florida.

Spending 15 years on the carrier side of the industry, Andria has a full working knowledge of underwriting formulas, plan design and experience analysis. She also has extensive experience with operational production units and call centers from her days in bank management. Since joining the AGIS team, the Orlando office has more than doubled in size.

Andria holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Stetson University. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools.



MG NixonMichael G. Nixon
President of Michigan Operations


Mike began his insurance career in 1983 with an association group insurance consulting agency, where he specialized in professional liability and multiple employer trusts for professional associations. In 1989, he was recruited by the then Allied Companies to join the company’s group insurance and employee benefits division as a sales consultant.

In 1994, Mike was named President of AGIS’s Michigan operation and has coordinated regional expansion initiatives over the last 10 years.

Mike has been a featured speaker for a number of professional association events and has served as a Life, Accident and Health Continuing Education Instructor in Southeast Michigan. In addition, Mike continues to serve the industry in a variety of advisory board capacities.

Mike majored in Literature at Wayne State University in Detroit.

 

D NOrrisDavid Norris
President of Indiana Operations


Dave joined the Michigan office of AGIS in 1998 as a Sales Consultant. In 2001, he was promoted to Sales Director of the Indianapolis office and was later named President of the company’s Indiana operations.

Since moving to Indianapolis, the agency has more than tripled in size and client count, now servicing more than 150 local clients. United Healthcare, Humana and Anthem recognize AGIS of Indianapolis as an elite agency.

Dave graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Business Administration. He was a varsity letterman for the Western Michigan football program. He serves on the board of directors for the local not-for-profit College Mentors for Kids.



P KirchnerRobert Pariseau
President of West Florida Operations


Formerly the president of Benefits Solutions Group, Rob has over 25 years in the benefits and HR industry. He specializes in various aspects of insurance solutions including benefits compliance, healthcare and retirement plans and HR administration.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Colgate University. He was awarded the CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist), designated by the Wharton School of Business and the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans, as well as the CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) chosen by The American College.

A frequent speaker and published author, Rob is the past president of the Tampa Bay chapter of CEBS. He currently serves on the board of the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation.





MC NixonMark C. Nixon
President of North Florida Operations


Mark joined AGIS in 1993 as Sales Associate. In 2002, he was promoted to Sales Director and subsequently managed the Michigan operations for three years.

In 2006, AGIS established its Jacksonville, Florida office and Mark was named President of North Florida Operations. Through valuable partnerships, the Jacksonville office has experienced significant growth since its inception. While Mark continues to work closely with certain key Michigan clientele, his primary focus and responsibility is the continued growth of the North Florida Operations.

Mark graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in finance and corporate strategy.
